Departure for Pardubice on time ! ( 6pm June 14)

Team New Zealand departed on time yesterday despite some worries over the current situation with "volcanic ash" and continued Earthquake activity in Christchurch.

BLOG SITE - WILL BE UPDATED AS "BLOGS" COME TO HAND

The Christchurch players were flown to Auckland on Monday (as a precaution due to the ash) with a slight delay as the first quake hit while they were boarding, the runway was checked for damage and the flight took off later than scheduled and just before the bigger quake occured.

Air New Zealand have continued to carry passengers during the "ash" issues by re-routing and adjustiung their altitudes. So no delays for the Wellington and New Plymouth members.

Our thoughts are with our families and friends in Christchurch and their continued situation during the swarm of eathquakes still impacting thier daily lives in the South Island.

The team are currently in the air about an hour out of Dubai. Landing 5.09 am (Dubai time)

The championship commences on June 19. The website access to follow game results and find information can be accessed following this link.
