COVID-19 Update - 15/11/2021

Hi all,

There has been a lot of uncertainty about vaccinations and what organisations may or may not require at the moment. This guidance sets out the current position on vaccinations but please note that requirements are likely to change as New Zealand moves forward and transitions into the COVID-19 Protection Framework (the traffic light system).   This framework is looking to be confirmed by the end of November but the government has indicated this date may also change.

The details of the traffic light system are still being designed and we will issue further guidance as soon as possible about the implications that this system will have for sport and recreation and how this will work for our events.

With the latest government announcements today Waikato moves into Alert Level 2 at 11.59pm tomorrow (Tuesday) night.  Auckland and the rest of New Zealand remain at their current levels.

The board will meet after the government announcement on 29 November with further updates.

In the meantime we will continue to work with Sport NZ and other agencies to ensure we keep you updated as more information comes to hand.
