Developing a culturally distinctive pathway toward Māori wellbeing.

Te Pākē o Ihi Aotearoa, the Māori Outcomes Framework and the Sport NZ Outcomes Framework carry the same status in the spirit of mana ōrite (equality). It is the strength of the two frameworks that will propel us toward our vision of Every Body Active.

Te Aho a Ihi Aotearoa

Sport NZ Ihi Aotearoa Māori Activation Plan 2021 - 2024.

In keeping with Te Pākē, our Māori Outcomes Framework, the Māori Activation Plan is named Te Aho. Te aho are the horizontal threads in the pākē, a traditional rain cape woven to be strong, durable and to be worn outdoors in physical activity, and in this plan represent our strategic priorities (Aho Rautaki) and medium-term outcomes.
